Aqua Joe Hose Nozzle
Package + Display Design
This hose nozzle + quick connector set is the first product of the company’s new brand line – AquaJoe®, which will primarily focus on watering products. I was tasked to create a package that can directly showcase this hose nozzle. Crafting the special package presented additional obstacle of accommodating the bonus quick-connector in the compact space. Besides, this hose nozzle is equipped with an intelligent throttle design located on the back that will allow users to control water flow. This is a main selling point that has to be emphasized in the marketing information on the package.
Single Blister Package Design
Following research and ideation brainstorming sessions, we came to a mutual agreement to showcase our product and its advantages in a manner that permits users to engage with the nozzle directly, even enabling them to interact with the smart throttle component. With this goal in mind, I opted to employ a blister pack to showcase the product completely and expose the smart throttle, thus encouraging interaction. To complement the product's function, I used numerous curves in its design, conveying the sensation of water flow.
To further emphasize the watering concept of the branding, I applied a lot of water elements on the graphics and color scheme. I also chose 2 shades of blue color that can reflect water as Aqua Joe’s branding color and apply them to the package. Later, the color combination is also implemented in product design by me.

100-Pack Half Pallet Display Design
The primary purpose behind the creation of the half pallet display is to provide a sturdy and easily assembled structure that can accommodate the quantity required by the buyer while adhering to the retailer's protocols. However, due to the considerable size of the display, it also serves as an excellent opportunity to showcase the new AquaJoe® brand and captivate customers with its unique brand identity and marketing information. In line with the blister pack and to reinforce the brand's identity, the half pallet display features a plethora of curved lines, water elements, and corresponding color schemes in the graphics. The distinctive shape and visually appealing graphics truly make the display stand out in the store.
Snow Broom Label Design
This project is to create a graphic label for the Snow Joe Snow Broom + Ice Scraper, which is one of Snow Joe’s best sellers. The objective is to attract more traffic to our e-commerce website through a QR code on the label, and to boost the sale of the snow blower collection that has more margin for the company. Below are 4 concepts I have created for the label.
POP Display Design
While working at Snow Joe, I was also entrusted with the task of creating product concept displays and packaging. This involved designing PDQs, trays, blister packages, and other display formats tailored to meet the needs and preferences of potential buyers. Additionally, I was responsible for developing the packaging design and graphics, which I would then render in a 3D program to produce captivating images for concept presentations. Once the buyers placed their orders, I worked closely with manufacturers and printers to ensure that the final products matched the initial concepts.
Sun Joe Portable Auto Vac Walmart PDQ Display
This is the PDQ I did specifically for Walmart. I worked closely with Sales department and provide them the pitch renderings at the beginning. When buyers placed the order, I worked with Factory to develop the display, and provide them with the graphic artwork for mass printing.

The display box is a 6-pack 4-color printing master carton, the Walmart store will detach the top cap of the carton and stand it beside the display box, and it will serve as a POP display board.
Snow Joe Ice Dozer Walmart PDQ Display
This is another Walmart POP display I developed. The individual units is inserted in each slot to ensure it stands securely. The display box can also serve as master carton during shipping.
Aqua Joe Garden Hose Walmart PDQ Display
I developed the form and graphic of the individual wrap and the PDQ display for this garden hose under a very limited timeline. The only information I had at that time was a sample hose that was not in our branding color scheme at hands. It was a collaboration and coordination with the buyer, the manufacturer and the printer at the same time to figure out a way that we can do within the timeline and that will be approved by the buyer.
Display Renderings
The company will also provide products in bulk display format on different size of pallet, and I was responsible to figure out the configuration that can fit the most product on, the proper fixture that can support the structure without high cost, and the marketing information and graphics on the display. Lot of buyers also would like to see how the products can be arranged on their shelves/bay, so I would also create the concept renderings for buyers like HomeDepot, Walmart, PC Richard.
